#RebeccaZahau : The T. Shirt

We’ve discussed several aspects of the crime scene described to us by San Diego Sheriff’s office in their press conference, as well as descriptions taken from the Medical Examiner’s autopsy report.  One area we have not covered, that is both odd and problematic, is the blue T-shirt found wrapped around Rebecca Zahau’s neck and, as reported to police by Adam Shacknai, who found Rebecca hanging dead on the morning of July 13th, stuffed in her mouth apparently as a “gag”.

On page 8 of Dr. Lucas’s autopsy report it states:
There is a light blue or turquoise long sleeve T-shirt also around the neck on top of/outside of the rope.  It was fashioned by tying the two ends of the long sleeves together near the cuffs in a double knot.  The sleeves are wrapped three times around the neck with the abdominal and lower chest portion of the shirt extending from the anterior aspect of the ligature.  The end of this has a small amount of what appears to be secretions. Okay, I’ve bolded some portions of the original description of the t-shirt that I would like to focus on.  All of these present some problems, or at least some questions.  Maybe more questions than answers for most of them.
Of course, as is the case in so much (almost all) of this case, we’re not given any of the detailed information that should have been released at this point, considering the case is closed and Rebecca’s death deemed a suicide.  For instance, all we know is that this t-shirt is a blue or turquoise t-shirt and that’s it.  We don’t know if it is a man’s t-shirt or a woman’s.  We don’t know if it is a small, medium, large, or x-large.  And we don’t know if it was just a solid colored t-shirt, or it had graphics, lettering, more
